Hot Fill Machine

The hot fill testing machine allows PET (Polyethylene teraphthalate) container manufacturers to replicate normal container filling conditions. The hot fill machine supplies heated water within the range of 185-195° Fahrenheit to fill containers requiring testing. The temperature interlock will not allow the machine to dispense water under or over the high or low limits. Once the container is filled, it is then capped and placed in a cooling sink. The cooling sink distributes a cold-water mist over hot-filled bottles. When the containers are cool, they are inspected for failures due to the vacuum created during the filling and cooling procedure.
